If you are using ExportPDF instead of Acrobat, then unfortunately you don't have access to these tools, and what you get cannot be changed - and your only option is to change the typos in Word. This will allow you to fix these "typos". Those can be corrected in Acrobat by running OCR as a separate step (separate from saving as Word document) via Tools>Text Recognition>In this file followed by working with "Suspects" in the Text Recognition panel. If the scan is not good enough, you will end up with recognition mistakes. There is one other situation in which this may occur: If your original document is a scanned PDF file, then Acrobat has to run OCR (optical character recognition) to convert the scanned document into normal text. Some lower quality PDF files do not store all the information (or the correct information) for Acrobat to do that. It uses your devices camera to capture the document and can save directly into Word format as an editable document. In order to extract text (or convert text to a different format), Acrobat needs to be able to extract that text. This is not a language problem, it's a problem of what data is stored in the PDF file:
